Board Meeting
November 12, 2007
- Minutes of October 1, 2007 meeting were read.
- Treasurers report – account balance $4629.16
Old Business
- Neighborhood Watch - We agreed to set up a meeting with Lt. Hill from the Peachtree Police Department. Kim Cort will work with Lt. Hill on time and
reserve the room.
- Covenants - Bo Stephens reported that we were set up as a voluntary HOA and not mandatory. Both of the covenants, Phase 1 and Phase 2, have expired.
- Community Directory - Rob Neidlinger suggested Karen Iampietro talk to Marie Sligh about the directory. Karen will look into utilizing flyers to get
permission to publish resident’s primary and secondary phone numbers.
- Website - All in attendance were grateful for Marie Sligh and her work on our website. Board members were also willing to disseminate website information
to neighbors that don’t have computers. Rob will talk to Marie about training us on the website.
- Review of Halloween Parade & Party - Rob Neidlinger said that the Halloween parade and party exceeded expectation. Approximately 65 people attended. He
reported that the Corn hole game and the Inflatable were fun and there were approximately a dozen decorated golf carts. Thanks to Diane Turner and Ann
Jaeckel for all their help.
- Flat Creek Bridge update – Peachtree City is moving forward with the planning and permitting to place elevated, approximately 300 foot approach ramps
connecting the existing bridge that spans Flat Creek behind Agate Edge and Mattan Point.
New Business
- Christmas Decorations - Bo Stephens made a motion to spend $500.00 on the decorations for the front entrance of Morallion Hills. Keith Walker made a second.
Sharon Walker and Sharon Cummings would be in charge of the project.
- Real Estate Listings - Bo Stephens and Karen Iampietro agreed to work on putting homes for sale in our neighborhood on our website.
- Term of Office - Discussion was held to have 1 year terms for the Neighborhood Association possibly to be held December 2008. There was discussion about
dues and the current bylaws.
- Christmas celebration - Rob would check on the feasibility to have a caroling and progressive Christmas party for the neighborhood.
